Growing up, it was Mack Bolan...those who know the name understand why.

Now, I'm not sure. There's so many.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & Prejudice. She was headstrong, smart, witty and charming. And she didn't crap from anyone!

Tough call, I'll say Alex Cross. He's tough and just enough of a smartass to keep things interesting. For those who might wonder he's a detective in James Patterson's novels.

Good choice Vurginne! Every summer I read that book and I'm always blown away by her character.

Off the top my head I'd have to pick Tom Hagen from The Godfather. He seemed the most relatable to me out of all the characters. I also liked how even though he was adopted and German-Irish (??) he still was so accepted in that environment and was even made consiglieri (sp?).

Richard from the Terry Goodkind series The Sword of Truth. I like how strong, loyal and dedicated he was to his purpose. Never failing in his integrity.
