Depends a bit on the sport. I like to be "in-person" for ice hokey. TV zooms too much on the puck and it's hard to see all the player positioning forming. You miss a lot of the strategy and skill just watching the puck. Other games, like baseball, are almost better on TV since you really don't need to see all the players who are just standing around until the ball is hit ... plus, you don't get a sunburn. :)

Varies sometimes, but I'm most often content to be home in the evening with my wife. On the other hand, we've got great friends and family that we enjoy getting together with.
