I'm in the process of making a sexy CD for the boyfriend and wish I knew of a few more sexy songs... Of course I know my Pixies friends will come through with suggestions :) Thanks in advance!

Here is an old thread when I was looking to make a sexy cd.

There are quite a few really good songs in it!

Have a look KateKate!

Almost anything by Santana, old or new. :D

Enjoy your tunes. I'd love to know what you end up with, if you care to share your choices.

katekate,

I made such a CD for someone a few months ago and here are some of what I put on it:

Right Time of the Night - Jennifer Warnes
Do That To Me One More Time - Captain and Tennile
Slow Hand - Conway Twitty
All I Need Is The Air That I Breathe - The Hollies
Precious and Few - Climax
Soul and Inspiration - Righteous Brothers
Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers
Feel So Right - Alabama
I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing - Mark Chesnutt (also done by Aerosmith)
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me - Mel Carter
Baby I'm Yours - Barbara Lewis

There are more, but I think this is a good start.
Hope this is helpful to you.

I have no idea since I never have sex. But I live in a fraternity house so I do have some idea. OLD RnB seems to be a favorite around here, as well as good old funk. Also, some Phish songs can make the cut. According to my next door neighbor the best thing is to find something that you both love and that doesn't break the mood (Rage fo example). But anyway...happy fucking

Sort of a follow-up to the original question.......

If you wanted to compile a CD of romantic/sexy instrumental "mood music", what would you include?

Thanks!

For a slow funk groove, with sexual undertones in the lyrics, I go for "Babylon Sister" by Steely Dan

plain and simple, if yer gonna fuck to anything (that's not 'Sheep Go To Heaven, Goats Go To Hell', i mean), it should be Al Green. no bones about it. nastier than Gaye, but more understated and soulful than White. can't-miss.

whoa the selections of the tunes is relevant to your taste..Back in the days of vinyl I used to joke that I liked to have sex to the Knack's "My Sharona" because of the beat....in reality I would put on something more like Milt Jackson.
One of the newer things would be to get any of The Ministry of Sound compliation discs "The Chillout Session 2" ,
Channel Light Vessel's "Automatic"
classic jazzy stuff
Illinois Jacquet's "Baned in Boston"
any of the MJQ albums
Chet Baker "with strings"
Stan Getz/Joao Gilberto
Frank Morgan either "You Must Believe in Spring" or "Listen to the Dawn"
Fred Wesley "comme ci comme ca"
or the ever popular Wynton Marsalis's "Standard Time Volume 3"
