Technical Question....(Hope I'm posting in the right place)

Does anyone know how to make animations out of still photos? I've seen a couple .gif's posted, but can't remember who had them. Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance...

you will need a Gif animater or a video editor, remember that moving and/or amimated frames are only a series of still pics shown at speed

yes I do~ you just hold them in one hand and flip through them fast with your thumb and amazingly they look to be moving.......ROTFLMAO~ sorry I am cracking myself up..... I am soooooooo technologically hadicapped it is not even funny

go to cnet.com,they should have plenty of gif animaters there to download

I found one at Download.com. It works great, but the .gif's i've made are too big to post. I got one to work, but had to cut it down to about 3 frames. Winzip and WinRAR wouldn't compress them any smaller than original size... anyone have any suggestions on how to get them posted?

you can't compress gif's very much because they already are compressed a great deal....generally a good idea is to make the picture size smaller, or reduce the picture quality to get a smaller file size.....just play around with them until you get it to work....trial and error can be long, but usually works:)

PS - the name of the game is persistence :)
