pictures
 

i'm really new here, so i was wondering, what did everyone use to take their pictures? did you use a regular camera and then scan it, or did you get a digital camera and upload it onto the computer? if so, where can i geta really REALLY cheap one? (that works just as well)

Digital is the way to go,
There are so many, I have the Sony Mavica, uses a disk like you use in the hard drive, you know the 3.5
Don't need any programs or wire to plug into the PC, It's cool..
They are now down to 350 or so at Sam's or Costco...

my b/f and i use a digital video camera and a capture program...that way we can get vids or pics.....it's excellent....but it's very expensive...plus you must have quite a lot of hard drive space to capture the video...

I recently bought a HP215 at Best Buy for $129. It's a 1.3 MegaPixel digital camera with auto flash, 2x zoom, and timer. It takes quality pictures. The higer the MegaPixels the better.

I also bought a flash card reader for $29 that makes it easier to load pictures from the flash card to the computer.

I would consider it an entry level camera but it works very well. If you're just getting started an excellent choice that doesn't cost tomuch.
