Probably going to get some obvious answers, but color me curious... ;)

For those in relationships where you do get sex, do you still masturbate?

(answer seriously/honestly, if you would):

I'm in a relationship and I masturbate:

1) a lot
2) occassionaly
3) rarely

I masturbate because:

1) my sex drive is stronger/more constant than my partners
2) I simply cannot get enough sex/orgasms
3) I am not completely satisfied with/fulfilled by my sex life

(this last one doesn't have to be "bad"; it could be because you have certain fantasies that your s/o doesn't fulfill that can be fulfilled through porn/fantasizing/masturbation).

1. I masturbate a lot in a relationship.
2. Because I am in a long-distance relationship, so we are apart for months at a time. Phone sex has become a good way for us to keep the sex-life going and do some planning for when we're together :) Plus, we like to incorporate a side order of mutual masturbation and foreplay before the ol' meat and potatoes of sex. Well I am not in a relationship right now so it is a given I masturbate a lot.

However in my last relationship I still masturbated even when she was sleeping right next to me because well sometimes I would get horny in the middle of the night and well she was sleeping.

I simply just am a horny guy besides my most sexually active relationship was with a girl who lived two hours away and as a result the week before going to see her and the week after seeing her I was so horny.

Even if I were in a relationship where I could be w/my partner pretty much 24/7, I would masturbate because (1) sometimes I just want to be responsible for my own orgasms, (2) sometimes my partner may be too tired or busy to "play," (3) sometimes I may not have much time and know I can bring myself to orgasm faster than a partner can, (4) sometimes I want to use a particular fantasy while masturbating that just doesn't jibe w/partner play or that my partner wouldn't approve of, (6) sometimes my partner may want to watch me masturbate, and (5) sometimes I long for a particular feel or type of orgasm that only I can provide.

I masturbate a lot...everyday. Becuase1) my sex drive is stronger/more constant than my partners 2) I simply cannot get enough sex/orgasms. My libido is stronger than his as I'm entering my sexual prime,and he was left his (fate is cruel!). But even on days he is up to it (which is most days) I still end up masturbating as I love to cum!

I do,

Mostly because I find it a good stress reliever, and I'm much higher sexed than she is. Often though, she watches me do it which makes it take a lot less time....

I masturbate often, and it's usually because I've become sexually stimulated by something and my partner isn't available or isn't in the mood.

I think that in most relationships one of the partners find themselves sexually stimulated from time to time when their partner is not. Masturbation provides a healthy outlet for that frustration.

Face it, even though we normally love the partner we are with everything isn't perfect, especially in the sex department. Rarely have I found a couple that have the exact same desires when it comes to sex.

Masturbation also provides us with an outlet for fantasies. So many people can't speak to their partners about their fantasies because they are afraid to rock the boat, being ashamed, think their fantasies are too far out, etc. Masturbation allows you to close your eyes and experience those fantasies, if only in your mind.

i masturbate very rarely anymore (when my bf and i didnt live together, i masturbated whenever i couldn't see him, which was during the week, so just about every day!) but now that i have been living with him, i no longer really need to and i don't because he has been fulfilling and meeting all my fantasies and my every need :)
