As much as it really really REALLLLYY pains me to say this, i'm not sure gas prices are totally dependant on the bumblefuck of a war that is happening. I'm sure that contributes to it, but I actually think it has more to do with our bumblefuck of a declining economy than anything else. I have to feel confident that they will go back down, otherwise I will go nuts.

As a side note, the last time I talked to my husband, i was like "boy what are ya'll doing over there? How's aboot doing something worthwhile and getting these gas prices down?"

His response "Yeah, no shit. What is it, like 1.50 a gallon now or somthing?"
