What % of the pump price is gasoline and what % is TAX? In the USA, it can have as many as seven hands in your pocket for every gallon you buy. Besides the Fed and the State tax many counties and cities get their paws wet. There are “spillage” and “sir” and any other camouflage name they can think up taxes. The more socialistic the country, the higher the % of your $ goes to somebody that has NOTHING to do with producing or providing gasoline. It’s another gold mine for the parasites because they know they have you by the short & curlies on a down hill pull. I doubt it would cost $2.00 / gal ANYWHERE, even today if you only paid for petro.
