 HAPPY BIRTHDAY

In fields of golden, ripened corn,
Just a wee bit west of here,
A lady of most special charms
Lived with her children dear!
Then one day she grabbed her brood,
And took the highway east,
Making stops at special points,
Neat Pixies there to greet.
When the trip was over, though,
The fields lay far behind,
And the hills and valleys of the nor'east,
In the morning sun did shine.
She took her place and settled in,
And lives there still today,
But even across these many miles,
We still have this to say,
"KG, you are a special one,
And we love ya' as you know,
Your happiness we always wish,
Your friendship we value so!
On this your very special day,
We reach across the miles,
And offer you a distant hug,
And happy, friendly smiles.
