The people who are doing the pools think they are suckering somebody who dosen't have a chance of winning into forking over some cash and fatting the pool up and then they win. one year a girl I worked with won 2 pools (winning just under $1000) and all she knew about basket ball was that you put the ball in the hoop. All she had done was look at a March madness artiicle that had come out in the paper. Her boyfriend had laughed at her for filling them both out the same telling her she was just wasting her money.
