I confess wasps/hornets suck... and finding a nest in some unused pots sucks even more... and not really knowing which pot they are nesting in isn't at all helpful... I confess now I'd like to just get the pots to the garbage asap without getting stung. So much for trying to get them cleaned up and ready to move.
