Like GG, I have a trackball that I love and have been afraid to even say out loud has been in service a loooong time. A year or so ago I started looking for a possible backup because of the every-day use it has given me and was dumbfounded when I first found it is not available and secondly when I found that I was not the only one with the desire and the want to have a replacement. To find that what was a $60 new item (over priced at the time in my mind), is now getting $200-$300 for a "used" one is mind boggling to me. This link will summarize the unreal story of this item, but the thought of not having it and forced to use a trackball like I have at work is terrifying to me.
