If it made you feel better then I think that's the best you're going to get. If you don't feel respected or appreciated (and dear God I know what I'm talking about), chances are he's not going to change to make you feel respected and appreciated.

On the whole, I think you come across as someone who cares for him & is hurt by his silence. You didn't seem bitchy or anything.
