This is a story about a boy who’s felt different his whole life and was just waiting for an event to change hi life.

That event was soon to come.

It’s a rainy evening out on the lake. The waves crash against the rocks smoothing them down like they have been for centuries. Nothing changes quickly here but everything does change. Geoff was just outside on the dock looking out at the rolling waves crashing over the sandbar. It was a different kind of summer for him. He was supposed to keep an eye out, find out what ever was causing the wave of carnage that was sweeping through cottage country. He thought at first it might have been an ordinary animal attack but decided against it after the travel patterns and movements. What ever was behind the attacks must have incredible speed. From the scenes of the activity he believes that there is more then one creature responsible for the deaths. The deaths were surprisingly clean. Geoff paced the dock looking out onto the lake seeing the reflection of the moon out on the lake. He felt primal.
