Peckerman is the son of the late lamented Plasticman, famed for his ability to stretch his body to all lengths in all ways. (A hectic life of fighting crime eventually led to his early death. Friends said he had tried to spread himself too thin.)

Determined that her son would not be a freak, Mrs. Plasticman dipped her infant son in the antidote to her husband's condition. Unfortunately, like Achilles, little Pecker didn't get entirely submersed. His mother held him by the penis when dipping him, and thus he retained the ability to extend his penis to any length.

Teased at school with names like "taffy dick" he learned to fight back by using his penis as a lasso to subdue school bullies. This led inevitably to a life of crime fighting.
