Fefe and Joey finally make it to the top deck. They stroll along in the dim glow of the deck lights, looking out over the sea, just talking and getting to know each other better. Fefe sees Dan and another woman coming from the opposite direction. Looking around, she sees nowhere to duck, so for lack of anything she grabs Joey and kisses him, keeping her lips pressed to his and her arms wrapped around his shoulders. Joey pulls her tight to him and responds. As the Dan and that woman pass by, without notice of her, she relaxes and realizes she likes having Joey this close. His tongue slips into her mouth as his hands begin to roam down her back.
