No, GG, not a cryptic message. Just a delerious ice hockey fan rooting for the Toronto Maple Leafs.  They've made it to the last round before the Stanley Cup Finals. |

Actually, the fans don't riot that much, since the real fisticuffs are out on the ice... I've always heard it as, "Went to the fights, & a hockey game broke out!"

Well, I went golfing myself yesterday, as a tribute to the Sens. I now jump onto the Leaf bandwagon, only because they're the only Canadian team left!

The cup is going to come back to TO after 50 years.....I just know it will.
First winter gold and now the cup..........I AM CANADIAN!!!

ya' got to admire the leafs they won't win the cup but they sure are playin' great hockey.with all the injuries i didn't think they would get past the sens.

Wasn't the last time they won 1967 which would make it less than 50 years? Mats Sundin back last night after breaking his wrist just 31 days ago?!?! Amazing!

Yes, that's definitely less than 50 years!! I graduated from high school in '67 and it certainly hasn't been 50 years YET!!  LOL!
It's about 34 years..still not as long as Detroit waited before winning it in '97. It had been 42 years for us! |

i know nothing about hockey being from england.
now if you were to mention football (soccer) then i would be the same as you guys.
I dont want to start a war here but ....
who is the best team at the moment...you know like whos winning everything..etc..etc..
in the UK there are two football teams that win everything Manchester United (from Manchester)and Arsenal(from London).
just incase you were interested!!
