I love to cook and am thinking about making a very sexy dinner for Valentine's day. I know some traditionally sex foods like oysters, strawberries and cream etc. but am interested in dicovering others. This would be to actually consume, not to be used other than aphrodisiastically, as a turn on. What foods turn you on? For me it's not so much the food itself, but in the presentation (think traditional french cuisine). If the dinner is prelude to sex then food prepared with a light, wine-based sauce is usually good. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I've had success with lamb chops (pan-seared and then oven-baked, covered, at 400 degrees for approx. 1 hr.) on a bed of wilted spinach and mushrooms. For dessert I would recommend some flesh-based, hairy food such as mangos, papayas, etc.

And the way "One" has to suck the meat out of the legs (my preferred way, instead of those tiny forks they give you) can be very exciting to the person sitting in front of you....almost like foreplay, without touching...

Thanks for the ideas. Nubian, I like the idea of French cuisine but it is often times heavy and filling. I want him to be turned on but not tuned out. Snoring would not be good ZZZZZZZZZZZ! "Hairy foods" sounds like a bad porno name but mangos are very sexy. The chops may be my best bet as they are hearty but the sides could be lite. Diva, I agree that crab can certainly be eaten in a sexy manner not to mention the butter needing to be lapped up as it drips and runs into all those sweet crevices.
