I literally feel like I have been run over by a truck. Every joint is stiff, every muscle group is sore. About the only thing that doesn't hurt is my hair. I shouldn't be complaining though, I did this to myself.

I'm stupid and decided to try out for a semi-pro football team. At 25 and not having been on a football field in 7 years, I'm not as young as I used to be. I did make the team but I'm 4 weeks behind the rest of the team. I only came to the second set of tryouts. It is amazing how much the human body can take and how much you don't notice it when you are younger.

Ok enough whining, I'm off to collapse on something soft.

I agree with you, you are a whiner. Wait till you are 55 and try some strenuous activity you aren't used to doing on a regular basis. You just wait.

Wow! Congrats! Better you than me. Right before I turned 30, I realized that I was really out of shape. I set a goal and (after not having run in probably 6 or 7 years) finished a marathon 13 months later. It'll be worth it. Keep us posted.
