I would have like to see the words "double blind" in the Creighton report, but it sounds like good science is being done so far.
I recall the 'kafuffull' about vitamin C in the late 60's as well as the farce involving apricot or some such crap in the early 80's as cancer effectuates. Good, sound science is our only and best way to find facts about anything so far, so I hope they continue and this becomes another point of our existence we are able to improve.
I only hold reserve when I see words of emotion ("The findings are very exciting. They confirm what a number of vitamin D proponents have suspected .........." ) in a serious report of observed evaluation. I like "interesting, enlightening, surprise", but "pleased, excited and hopeful" are words that are about what they WANT to find, not about what IS the result and cause question for me.
Here's hoping something good come of this.
