I have to admit, Irish, I can't recall a playoff game going to 2nd OT, yet it must have happened in the past as it was the 5th longest in the history of the league. I heard 1987 but that was before my interest began.

Someone keeps tacking on an extra week to the season!

My (almost) 9 year old son is a HUGE Football fan... and a loyal diehard Raider Fan... since the Raiders did so poorly this last year he supported the Panthers in the game...

We watched it together.. and were both on the edge of our seat.. it was by far one of the best endings to any game I have ever watched.. It will be interesting to watch games today.. and next weekend

Ah but it's not just for effect...

Its funny but the first game I really took notice of them was the last time they made the playoffs, the end of the 96 season, when coincidentally, they beat Dallas!

Its been a long time, suffering the 1-15 season a couple of years ago, but now? Its great being a Panther! 7 years of failure, and now this.

PS I want Green Bay to win, then we can have the championship game next week at the ric!

Sorry man, the Panthers are goin north. Should be one helluva game.

So Animal Not if you are so Happy you should send Martz a gift for the one he gave to the Panthers....WTF was he thinking on his last possession of regualtion??Got to admit that was a great game from a spectator's point of view. But being from Charlotte you can identify that the NFL is just a diversion till it is ACC Basketball time....to paraphrase a slogan from your new home.....God Save the Heels!!!
