My children say that Apple Corp. is up in arms about RealNetworks' claim that it has found a way for music from its online store to be played on iPods.

Since Apple makes all its profits from iPods, and not iTunes, I don’t understand what the big deal is. I would have thought Apple would have welcomed another firm helping grow its market.

I'm so "out of the loop" that I don't even know what an iPod is! I can barely figure out this dang thang (*looks down at keyboard and over at computer tower*)!

Technology confuses me...and I hate to be confused...so I avoid it and the new innovations! Hell...I, just this year, finally got a microwave with a turntable. That was techie enough for me for a while...TYVM!

A ipod is like a hard drive on your puter. You can download things from the net and carry it around with you. Plays music and stuff. I think that is what it is anyhow.
