Preplanning funerals
Morbid subject i know, but after my Mum's funeral, where we all pretty well knew what she wanted and just how much easier (if it can be at such a time) it was for us to give her what she wanted as a farewell, i have been slowly gathering things i want at my funeral, and no i am definately not in a hurry.
We have a family coffin style, so i'll keep with tradition there, though i would like it lined in pale blue, not white. Though that is not set in stone, not sure i'll be able to see it anyway down there *L*
Do not bury me in a dress!! Track dacks, tshirt and a jumper will be fine, i am NOT spending eternity in uncomfortable clothes! Ugg boots would be good for me feet *L*
I better have makeup, and it better be done well. Just enough to give me some colour, but i dont wanna look like satans whore! So someone best check i look ok *L*
A pre paid mobile phone is to go in with me, cause by geez if they stuff up and i aint dead, i want a way out!! Oh and please check it has service 6ft down!
Pics of my family and friends. Pics of my pets. My Orli bear which is my fav, he needs to be in there too. Something Lord of the Rings too needs to go swords or such would be good. I'll make the archeologists of the future stop and ponder the warrior with the toy bear *LOL*
In the church one song i'd like is "Stairway To Heaven"
As i'm being wheeled out of the church and as i am being buried i want "Bella's Lullaby" from Twilight playing! That is a must!!
Most of all i want people to be happy that i lived and they were part of my life, not sad because i'm gone!!
Anyone else had thoughts or have an idea of what you would like?
