Knock on wood ... the heavy storms they predicted for last night apparently snuck around us.

Going over to Allerton Park this morning when my wife gets home at around nine. Understand the storms beat up on the peonies a bit, but we're hoping some have bounced back by now.

The storms have been plentiful and everywhere this season. How fragile and temporary we are.

Finally having the issue with my sword resolved. The company has decided to go ahead and ship it on their dime. Though what really made me smile was the fact that they had the gall to ask if I'm always this pleasant to deal with. I think patiently waiting for over three months for my sword to be ready and shipped was pleasant enough.
