A picture my girlfriend sent me, of an advertising sign she took while driving around her neighborhood. Said she saw the sign, and thought of me.
Probably because her thought was the same as mine when I saw the picture. The sign reads, "Infant opening".
and my thought was, "WTF, are they doing pediatric surgery?"

My father's i-Pad froze and wouldn't thaw. He took it to the local Apple store. The person he spoke to there went above and beyond. As Dad put it, "press the home button with the on/off button at the same time for 18 seconds. This apparently rejigs the chip. He confided ‘it’s a secret’ and certainly not included in trouble-shooting."
I'm not an Apple user, but this may be of interest to those who are.

Congrats soda...not the best timing for such an event, but when is it...
I became a Grandma at 42 years old....my kid was 20 though. Let me tell you this. She took to motherhood like a duck to water and I was there for her, just as you will be for your daughter and your new grandchild.
The love you will feel for this little one will be so overwhelming and powerful. More than you can imagine or put into words....You are young, so you will be a very real and involved presence in this life and you will form a bond like no other you have ever had......
So soda,I predict that this new year of 2014....you shall fall in love....... for the rest of your life.
Oh, make sure there is a nice pic of you holding the baby as soon as it is born.....you will want to capture the complete look of being demented that appears upon becoming a Grandma....I kid you not. All my friends, myself included have these pictures....
Good luck to the three of you.
