The ad I saw had the picture of the Hofner bass labeled as the Rick. I think it's weird that the instrument that comes with the game is a bass; not a lot of people play air bass; it's faux guitar they want to play.
Of course, I don't see the appeal myself. Why would I want to play a fake guitar? I'd rather play for real.

I ruined dinner!! I made this sandwich and it came out crappy and I tried to make oven-fried onion rings and burned them to a nasty crisp. Should have made him take me out for dinner.

This is the third full Rock Band brand game released and it's supposed to be compatible with most controllers, including those produced for use with Guitar Hero. There's a solid chance that folks that pick up this game will already have a guitar (at the very least) that will work with this game and the Hofner bass is arguably the most recognizable instrument the Beatles used. People have the option of guitar, bass, vocals, and drums in the game, so it makes sense, to me anyway, to include the bass since most folks likely don't have one. (Yes, a regular guitar controller will work fine, but they're trying to sell the look as well as the music.) They also sell a non-Beatles related bass controller that has a split strum bar so you can walk it with two fingers. Just some info on a game I have fun with, which is really all it is... A game of dexterity and hand eye coordination.

I just found out that someone i work with (pretty sure which 1 of the 2) is far more bitch than i ever gave her credit for! I'm upset and disappointed in her and am not quite sure how i will manage to face her let alone be civil this afternoon.

Hey, I always wanted to be Paul anyway!...'cept I'm not a lefty...
I suppose I was being a little grumpy & splitting hairs on the "who played what" dispute...the developers actually answered the question of "USSR" saying that they were more concerned w/peeps having fun being the Beatles, than historical accuracy. I'm with AZ (I wish!) on getting the guitar names right should be a major priority.
Aqua, I asked #2 son if he was interested in getting the Beatles/Rock Band, & he said his Guitar Hero controllers don't work w/RB...could be he got it wrong, but I didn't realize there was a difference....

The 1st legalised brothel here is having an open day on Saturday (complete with a sausage sizzle *L*) I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wanna go have a looksee. I'll be asking Bilbo tonight if we can go *L*
And let me say, ppl around here need to build a bridge over the fact that the brothel is here. Honestly, i'd much rather a legal one where girls regularly have health checks and things arent sleazy than the illegal ones that are around

"brothel here is having an open day" does seem to have a certain ring to it.
