This is Tanner, our Yellow Lab. We were taking a picture of the landscape around the house, and he kept getting in the pictures... we tried to chase him away, but as you can see, he would sneak in at the last moment.

I'll bet Lixy can tell us.

I'm actually not sure of the OTC strength of Aleve. I don't have any myself......it was a recommendation to a friend. I'll try and remember to check for this at the store today....after work! And BTW Blue......ty for the actual name....naproxen. I wasn't sure what it was exactly.....just that it worked!

I'm afraid our cat, Pokey, passed away last November. Looked a lot like Oreo, Ananke's kitty. We miss him. He's buried in our back yard with a small stone kitty to mark his gravesite. Planted flowers on either side and have a small concrete bunny next to him (he loved chasing rabbits).

Needless to say, I miss him a lot. He was my buddy.

Ananke---It may be a coincidence,but we(wife&I)also have a cat
named Oreo!He is Black with White markings.Last year,I had to have our dog put down&I have never been a "cat person",but you
get attached to anything, that is around the house.Last year, the
cat almost died.It was less than 1/2lb.I rushed it to the Vet,fed it
with an eyedropper,& now it weighs about 14lbs.My wife(the "cat
person")gets pissed because the cat always jumps in my lap!
Irish
P.S.He really misses that dog! They learned to co-exist!They had a
mutual respect!

*BUMP*

Not sure where Casper is....but I have an update and I have to post it here for those who may have read my info on naproxen.

Seems Cinnamon (neighbors dog) was doing wonderfully on 1 pill a day till just recently. She became constipated and our neighbor had to stop the daily dose. Naproxen is an 8-12 hour pill so he will research the availability of a lesser mg. than 220mg. (because you shouldn't half a time released pill) or he will try something else other than aspirin (which didn't work). He was extremely pleased with the results other than this recent one. Poor Cinnamon.....her constitution couldn't take the dosage.
