I seem to recall that.
So we went ahead and bombed them and killed 6 Canadians I think.

"Friendly Fire" killed four and injured eight Canadians......how I detest that phrase friendly fire.
I remember the first time I heard it. A mother who had lost her son to "friendly fire" during the Viet Nam war fought long and hard to find out what really had happened to her boy.
I remember a movie was made about her fight. Carol Burnett of all people played the relentless mom. |

Yes, the overthrow of the Taleban was, if not a "slick move", at least beneficial for the general populace.
