These last 3 are out my backdoor and a few miles on either side of it. I wanted to share our beautiful sunsets, sunrises, and proved that yes there is desert in Washington *LOL* We are in an agricultural area but the crops would not survive without our irrigation systems.
I could go on and on showing you the various sites, but I'll stop *LOL* Just know that if any of you ever make it to Washington, you won't regret it and if you ever need a tour guide, just let me know

I live in the panhandle of Florida on the "Emerald Coast" I don't have many pictures of our area, but below in the Destin picture is of a sunset I took in November.
The best time of year for our area is spring time...not too hot but the beaches are best then. Right now the humidity takes your breath away.
The Daytona picture was taken July 3rd at the Daytona Nascar race. I thought it was pretty.
Hope you enjoy!

As I promised ... here's a picture of the fort. (How do I always pick cloudy days? ) On the Memorial Day weekend they have a festival called "Rendezvous" which recalls the fur trading days along the Illinois River. People camp in traditional French and Indian style and conduct "military" demonstrations from the late 17th century. A lot of good food and interesting craft demonstrations. Makes for a fun weekend.

Pumpkin Canning
I was out this morning and saw they were already working at a nearby Nestle Pumpkin Canning plant. Got to thinking most people probably haven't seen how the trucks unload their cargo so took a couple of pictures to show you.
First two are of the unloading and the last is of the processing plant. They can about 1/2 of all the canned pumpkin in the US at this plant.

Definitely! I still haven't found it but the last time I was near Yorkshire it was for a different type of beverage.

And, of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't include some pics of where I grew up ~ Newfoundland.
Coming soon, my pics from a two-week hike I took in the Rockies (just need to find time to scan them).
