This is our newest member of the family. He was found in a tree. My husband helped him down and he has never left ever since. My children have named him Meow Meow. Yes that is correct Meow Meow. Somehow it suits him. This picture is him hanging out in a bowl I was putting on eBay. LOL To cute he is.

The nearest thing I have to a pet is the orchid that sits on my kitchen window sill. It's about the only living thing in my house besides me and a rather sad looking basil plant and I'm devoted to it. It's my pride and joy, and I talk to it, love it and nurture it as though it were a pet! I'd post a pic but it''s just losing its flowers at the moment so it's feeling a bit camera shy!
I've been seriously toying with the idea of adopting a couple of kittens (two so that they can keep each other company while I'm at work) but I haven't decided yet, it's a bit more of a commitment than a house plant! Lol.

I know this thread has been dead for awhile but we have new babies and I wanted to share. The momma bird on my shoulder is a fallow, suppose to be very rare and she is the only one I have ever seen. The daddy bird is a pied (sp) and he flew out the window last night, grrr, so have lost him. The 2 babies in my hands look like the daddy other than they don't have all their feathers yet.

My baby.........
He lets us live in his house and he lets me feed him and clean his poopie box out several times a week. He doesn't let me brush him cause then he wouldn't be able to leave his dark grey hair ALL over every bed and sofa and chair in the house. We drove him to Fla. and back twice, which gave him a major attitude adjustment.........he used to act like the cat in Pet Semetary (literally). We named him Rocky (after the squirrel, but he's more like the boxer......"ADRIANNE"!). He is 16 now and I'm hoping for a few more good years with him. When he dies I want to get a chocolate lab......but Rocky won't let me have one now! I even said "pretty please"........but he ain't budging on his decision.

Here's our picture of Freddie, our pet flea. We'd had him for .. oh, an hour or so before that dreadful accident with the bug spray. We had run out of deodorizer and wondered if this pretty yellow can with a red lid would work ... well, little did we realize what that stuff would do to Freddie.

We've recently added a family of kittens to our menagerie. The mother is a neighborhood stray that adopted us last year. But for some reason, Mama cat disappeared when they were 8 weeks old. I don't know why, but she was a very good mother to the kittens and never would have left them unless she was either "adopted" by a family who didn't know she had a litter to care for, or if she met with an untimely end.
One of the 4 has been given away and we have kept the remaining 3. We have the black one, "Boo", the darker of the 2 grey ones, "Sid", and the other dark one. "Chopper" who is an exact duplicate of the mother.... The solo pic is Chopper.

This is my only pet right now, his name is Magic. I'm itching for another dog, but I think I have to wait until my 2 year old son is a little older. He would absolutely terrorize a dog. He tortures the poor cat as it is!

Wanna see some Tang?
A friend asked me to post a picture of my 'Tang
Here's my baby "Tang" I love him soooo much. He's 1/2 lab 1/2 chow and is the sweetest boy in the world. I adopted him from the dog pound and soooo thankful I did. He will be 4 years old in August.
Isn't he just too cool in his "Old Navy" collar?
He's actually named after mustang---we are car lovers not COMPLETE pervs.......
Any more picture requests of Tang???? :moon:
