Yeah, I had gotten off Pixies for a bit and when I returned ... there was no Pixies for me to get to. Dang, that's frustrating. Took quite a while to get back up.

Lilith, so sorry to hear that. Give him our condolences.

Had a power outage last night and it knocked out the "cable box" in our bedroom. Will have to get replaced, but, they're not open until Monday. So, either we watch TV in the living room ... or ... we watch a DVD or BluRay in our room.

So sad. A lifetime of potential suddenly not there.

Not having my car back until Monday. Been a long week!

My dad had to put my rottweiler down today. He was 12 years old and diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Prognosis was less than a week.

My youngest demon spawn This kid WILL be the death of me

My best friend's cancer has gotten worse, and spread. She's going to do some horrific course of chemo that seems to be her only hope, and the prognosis is, bizarrely, 2 months to 2 years. I really don't know what to do or what to think in the face of what can be done is being done, and barring a miracle, it won't be enough. All I know is I'm not ready to lose her (as if I ever could be), and there's not a goddamned thing I can do about it.
