Was feeling ok till the afternoon run, when stupid drivers kept slowing me down, felt the stress-o-meter going up...then I ran into a major traffic jam trying to get downtown...seems the President is in town for a fundraiser, & I (& about 10,000 fellow townies) was the victim of a political drive-by & the rolling roadblocks that go with it...

My students are being paticularly violent right now and kids are getting hurt. I feel like I'm in fight or flight all day.

I've been in a bit of a funk, too. I'm going to try to fit in lots of fun things for my remaining time off but I also have lots o errands to do. Ah well, I've read a lot this week, at least.

I've spent a few days crying over someone who didn't deserve my tears.
I'm listening to Canadian 80s music (Do Americans from that time period know Honeymoon Suite?) & am thoroughly enjoying the fact that my tears have dried, disappeared even.
