He Bought Me An Appliance!
I'm flippin out! I've tried and tried to kill my current washer and dryer...to no avail! Well...Riegner's (a local appliance/furniture store) is going out of business and "EVERYTHING MUST GO...TO THE BARE WALLS", so we went over to have a look-see.
I'm home today cause I'm waiting for the delivery of my brand-spankin new Maytag washer and dryer!!!
Hey! I have so little to be excited about these days. Be happy for me!
*tingles in anticipation of a new spin cycle*

Ah, the wonders of the spin cycle.
It helps dry your freshly-washed clothes.
What else can you do with the spin cycle?

It gets the water out of lettuce leaves, and makes for a fresh & crisp salad.

ahhhh!!!! I see the true upside of all of this.... the old washer can now be used over and over with an unbalanced load! I get it!

ROFLMFAO@^^^all ya'll!
Well, the delivery guys got here about 2:30pm yesterday. We had everything detached and ready to take away...and they didn't even have to connect the new stuff...Mr. Lixy wanted to do it. So...they took the old stuff and brought in the new. This house is so old that the door jams aren't very wide...but we did measure before we purchased, so we knew it would work. Lo and fuckinbehold...the washer wasn't going to cooperate. The delivery guy had to take my back door off the hinges...no problem, right? Well, he didn't figure this out till AFTER he scratched the front panel. Arrrrggggggggggg! I was nice. I didn't scream in his face or anything. But, he mentioned he would report this and probably Maytag would send me a new front panel. OK...well...ok. What could I do? Get the thing in here damnitalltohell! Later, I got to thinking...that delivery man isn't going to "tell" on himself...so I called the store and sure enough they had no idea. They called Maytag and I am getting a new front panel...through no help from the delivery guy!
And....*insert drum roll here*....this morning it was discovered by Mr. Lixy that some of his warmest work socks and a few head sheets were left in the dryer....cause they are nowhere in this house! LMFAO! I was in such a hurry to get those old machines outta here...I didn't even look inside!
But all in all...I'm in love with my new machines! Geezzzzz...the things they can do now-a-days!
P.S. The spin cycle is so quiet...I doubt I can take advantage of it! And...the cat goes nowhere near the machines when they are on...lol!
