I just saw this play and it was wonderful.
What is your favorite play or musical?

I've only ever seen Bye Bye Birdie and Arsenic and Old Lace. They were both good though!

My favorite musical is Phantom Of the Opera, seen it 4 times, each time catching something "new" when I see it.
My favorite play is "same time next year".

Phantom was the best I've seen. Granted, I haven't been to all that many.

I haven't been to very many, and most have been high school or local theater so it's not really fair to put them up against the full production of The Lion King. That was incredible. Although I will say that The Merchant of Venice production I saw at a local high school a long time ago was absolutely superb.

You know what, now that I think about it, I have seen one I liked better than Phantom. Don't laugh but it was "Aladdin" and was put on at Disney's California Adventure. It was absolutely amazing.

So many that I've loved ... Arsenic and Old Lace; West Side Story; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and others ... but my all time; no question about it; favorite musical was Fiddler on the Roof! Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic!
... and I liked it, too!

Huge Phantom fan right here, I do like Les Mis but I haven't heard the music to that forever now. Might need to hunt that up.

We have to pick one? Hmmm... not sure I can do that....
So many good ones, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Annie, Jesus Christ SuperStar, Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music, Romeo & Juilette......
Ok, if I have to pick one it'd be The King & I with Sandy Duncan as Anna!
... or maybe the Phantom or Oklahoma or .......

Does Pink Floyd's The Wall count as a musical?

As far as I'm concerned it does.
