I had a fantastic day!
Somebody added $620 to my checking account, :jump: so I’m going to buy a new web cam and will be VERY happy to watch you get ready for work every day, Cheyanne.
(wear the pink ones tomorrow :lust: )
j/k
I am really am sorry you had such an exciting day. Why does the mundane routine seem so undesirable until we have a comparison.
Like DB, I’m assuming it was only a bomb threat and that nothing was found, and that there WILL be an effort to follow it to the end. I think the results and the consequences should be as highly publicized as the ones that are NOT just a threat or prank.
I truly am happy things are coming back together so quickly for you. Perhaps the rest of the day kept your split image from being the memorable highlight of the day after all.

Well... today went better - no more threats.. lol
I remembered to set my alarm!!! And was put together quite well (and evenly) lol (OH.. btw PF - I wore the pink ones today )
We had a staff meeting early this morning and found out that it was just a threat and no bombs were found. They brought in a really cool dog and a handler and they went thru the building 3 times. The bathroom stall door that the threat was written on was gone - they took it for evidence.
The kids were on edge though - we had a lot of law enforcement presence in the building. We could only enter by one door and we were frisked, our purses, bags, backpacks were inspected inside and out. The doors were locked and people couldn't get in from the outside and had to go in the main doors. (The emergency bars worked, so if there was an emergency everyone could exit)
The kids that are the normal shits were shits x 10 with most of them saying we were violating their rights with the new rules. Most of the others complied with the new rules -bathroom times between classes as well as getting items from lockers. No more wandering the hallways during classes with those excuses.
I am glad that we have a short week... tomorrow is our last day before spring break... we don't go back until Tuesday.

Holy Friolies (((((Chey))))!
Do like me...and negate the make-up but for special occasions. Do I care one flying fuck if so-and-so sees me at work with my lashes curled? NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! LOL! Funniest part about that is, when I do wear a tad of mascara, lip gloss and blush...I get the "Ohhhhhhhh...gotta date?"...or..."Whoa "Lixy", who's the lucky guy?" I rarely wear the stuff, so when I do it's something to talk about for the gawker's.
The bomb scare? In the days before terrorism and Columbine and etc....we'd get them 2-3 times a week in my high school. Kids would call um in and we'd prance outside and smoke a smoke and wait it out. Today, *shudders*...it's one of the most scary things I can think of! So glad you all are ok hun! *hugs*
LMFAO@PF's money well spent! *smack*...Oh geezzzzzz C&C...hope you didn't have checks written against your account. *sigh* That would suck!
All in all...my day sucked pond scum...but wasn't nearly as bad as yours...so I know your good days are coming...and I am assuming my "bad" times are just around the corner. Hey! It's life.....with the good, we take the bad or we wouldn't know when it was good again!
*hugs to you and yours hunny*

Well, today was actually a good day. Had a good breakfast and coffee with friends. Took my wife and we got her her Easter present. Time for nap and a little time for Pixies. Now, planning for the weekend and our trip to Cincinnati to spend Easter with our daughter and her family.
Sorry your day didn't go well Lixy, but I agree with you on Chey's avatar. Another Kleenex call.

Today I made a picture frame........and stained it
also messed up making dinner and had to call on a friend in another state to help daughter with a chem problem. ( she is in the seventh grade) It seems that I forgot almost everything I never learned about chemistry.

My day...
Walked 3 large dogs on leashes and put chihuahua in a front pack. Saw cat. Almost got arms ripped off holding on to leashes, while chihuahua was trying to escape pack and semi-strangled.
Got home. Vacuumed. Took canister off to empty. Caught the wind and blew it all in my face.
Fed the dogs and gave extra treat of chicken. Malamute had killer gas the rest of the day and the wolf hybrid enjoyed belching in my face.
Chihuahua got the runs and I had to wash blankets.
Husband wanted beef every night for the next 4 or 5 nights. So I took some out of the freezer. It all thawed at once. Except the pork chop, which he wanted tonight. I cooked for almost 5 straight hours this evening.
I took a shower to unwind. I reached up to adjusted the showerhead. I unscrewed the blasted thing and it bopped me on the head. I caught it, and 2 other parts, before they hit the floor. Unfortunately, I dropped the soap on my very bad toe.
The last casserole just came out of the oven and I'm staring and typing with 3 bandaged fingers.
Because of the dry air, every time I'd do dishes in the stainless steel sink, I'd get a bad shock where the skin was splitting.
I know this is lengthy, but you asked. How was your day?
(Lilith...if this takes up too much room feel free to remove or edit.)
