I disagree with the short hair theory. I don't think it is at all about the hair but rather the man. I wore mine short for years and it never got his attention. Now I have this long curly medusa mess and it is perfect to get your hands tangled in. When my man buries his hands in it, twists, and yanks, I know he is not going to last much longer.
