The rain came down hard and fast
The kind of rain you know canít last.
Rushing waters along the curbs did flow,
All streams to the ocean were on the go.
Carving channels in the ground,
Left and right and round and round.
I think the sun is trying to peek,
A break in the clouds it tries to seek.
The blue is striking, so very pure,
A sign of clearing, of that weíre sure.
Youngsters to the yard do go,
Delighting in the mud between their toes.
Lovers savor the fresh air hand in hand,
Making tracks on the paths or prints in the sand.
They turn and embrace and feel the world in itís glory,
Adding a page of joy to their special story.
Isnít it wonderful how the world can be,
Such a delightful place if only we
Set aside our worries, set aside our grieving,
And count the blessings we are receiving.
Turkish Proverb - It is not disgraceful to ask, it is disgraceful not to ask.
