So when you meet up in the copy room...slip her a note......a simple "If your not seeing anyone would you like to grab coffee sometime" . You could even put it in a greeting card saying a friendly hello.

Closer to home, if you have hobbies/interests, visit groups which apply or discuss those things you are interested in.

As much as we all strive to be mature adults.....I can't help but wonder if the tried and true "High School Grapevine" method might work.

While at work start asking co-workers in passing some vague questions.

Do you know AAA from the BBB dept?
I wonder if she's seeing anybody?
etc...etc...etc

By noon the questions will reach her and by end of day you'll have the answers.
