cumming and having a orgasm, the same thing?
I have a quick question. Is having an orgasm and cumming for a women the same thing? I always thought they were different, but some say I'm wrong. I know not all women can cum. I thought that cumming was releasing a fluid through orgasm. You can have an orgasm without cumming though. Anyways are the two the same or are they different?

Cumming
Some people talk about them as though cumming and
orgasm are different.
Orgasm presents differently for different women, some
are more productive than others.
Same for men.
An orgasm is not always accompanied with enough fluid to
fill a swimming pool. nor is it always a neat and tidy thing.
Find your level and smile at it.

Apparently the fluid and the feeling can be two completely separate things to the extent that a guy can have an orgasm, but not ejaculate.
Don't know if anyone else has heard this.

When I was coming of age, to cum was to have an orgasm... they were the same. The first time I heard them as being seperate is when I was dating a girl who would say, 'yeah.. I had an orgasm... but I didn't cum.' She's the only person I've ever heard, until now, describe them as different. I think cum is synonymous with orgasm... not with ejaculation. My wife ejaculates (squirts) sometimes during an orgasm, but squirting or no, she calls it cumming.

Picadilly: I have. Orgasming and ejaculation are not synonymous with each other. I have been known to have extreme multiple orgasmic experiences that leave me unable to talk for uhm....lengthy periods of time as Kyttn can attest to. Yet I may only ejaculate a few times. I've had multiples ranging in the high double digits yet some rude people (on less interesting boards) say that is impossible (and not so politely either).
Fallen_Angel: Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus....uh sorry wrong thread.....Fallen Angel there is a difference. It may only be a physical or mental difference but there is one.

Sorry...
Heard of women having the seperation between the two, but from a male I can say that they are the same. Never had an orgasm and not made a mess!

I came, I saw, I orgasmed!!
I don't think that they are different.
It's just like men. They cum...alot sometimes...and others it's just a few drops....
Same as women. Some squirt alot...and sometimes only a few unnoticeable drops occur.
So give me an orgasm or make me cum...they both feel great and ohhhh so relaxing......the best stress reliever known to man kind!
(Speaking of getting rid of stress...... ... ...it's just about that time again! )

there is a difference between Orgasm and ejaculation for both men and women. The male needs to learn how to control the "male PC muscle". As for cumming it depends on your definition of the word.

I tend to think cumming is synonymous with ejaculating/ejaculate and not the contraverse. Orgasm, I think, is the physical (and mental) sense of release after one reaches his or her "peak". I think it's entirely possible to orgasm and not cum. Just my .02 cents.
