Beautiful day yesterday with a high near 70. 50's between now and Wednesday, then dropping back into the 20s and 30s. Plus it's been threatening rain and they've issued flood watches for the area.

Like PF said, at least we had the one beautiful day!

Mutter, grumble, we've a Cyclone moving in to block off my driving path home. This may add another 1300 miles (2000km) to my trip.

Rain this morning. Drove over to a nearby town and the retention ponds are all full and the creeks are full and running fast. That's more like spring than winter. And now, we've got 30 mph winds with gusts over 40. Whew! I was happy with 70's and light winds. Oh well, as long as it gets better soon.

The Bradford pear trees are in full bloom,the sweetgum and red bud is budding out. Its been almost 80 here for 3 days

RAIN! RAIN! RAIN! Still raining. They expected a couple of inches last night and another inch today. Creeks and streams are flooding as is the Illinois River in spots. We're okay (so far ) but there's not much room for much more.

It'll be warm enough today, but with more rain. Then, the bottom falls out. It'll be 64 today, then 24 tonight and a high of only 36 tomorrow and about the same on Thursday.

Hey, at least th temperatures will stop the flowing water.

Maybe.
