I had some old nude pictures in an album on mypicgallery.com, password protected, and someone took them without my permission and posted them on this site: edited by LilithThe whole site looks fucked up to me.

And the person who told me said that in order to get my pics removed I have to take a personalized "sign pic" with my webcam holding a sign saying I've been "owned" by ratingsiteinsider. What a load of BS.

He also stated that some of the other girls on that site did not know that either, and they most of them submitted owned pictures, but I will not be "owned."

Other girls have also complained on that site, but the only thing we get back are posts making fun of us, or they telling us that we shouldn't have taken the pics in the first place.

Their defense in posting pictures saying that because I uploaded my pictures on the album, I lost all rights to it. I think that's a load of crap as well.

Any advice?

You have been stalked and hacked. First contact the site that had the pics in the first place and tell them they have been hacked. I sent you the details of who owns the other site from whois. You may have to contact the police and report the hacking. Also change the passwords to ALL sites you have pics up.

Also don't chit chat with these sort of guys. That is what they want you to do.

I did message the admin of the site twice since last night. I have also deleted all the picture albums I have online that contain nudity. Also, if you see that site, I'm not the only girl they have done this to. They do this with lots of other girls, and we are all made fun of when we try to complain.

you have to read the fine print Rayna when you go to those sites.

The fine print in mypicgallery did not say anything about losing my rights to it.

He admits he took the pics by hacking, so contact mypicgallery.com and tell them that. The other site is reg in California. You will have to contact the authorities there and report it.

It said no pornographic pictures, but the pictures I posted were not exactly explicit pornographic pictures. Nudity does not always equal pornographic.

I did not post any explicit pictures of me having sex, giving head, masturbating, or even spreading myself or in explicitly sexual positions.

keep your pictures on your hardrive.. not a website.... only use the website to upload them when you need too.. then get them off... its that simple.. oh and invest in a firewall... most of them are free.. and work wonders....

oh dear... i learned a great lesson in an IT class I took this semester... passwords should be 6-8 characters composed of letters, numbers, and symbols. Use both upper and lower case letters. There are plenty of password sniffing programs that can quickly sniff any word(s) that are in a dictionary of any language. Also, passwords should be changed every 4-6 weeks. Most of us know this due to our corporate computers prompting us to do so, but unfortunately home and web based applications aren't so user protection friendly.

And as someone else said, assuming the web is a safe haven is unfortunately a wrong assumption. It's a lil festering pot of wrong doing. Of course you will find plenty of good sites... but there are lots of bad ones and bad people lurking on the other end of the cable.

That is really useful advice maddy. Thanks for sharing. I for one am certainly gonna put it into practice.

One password strategy that is worthwhile considering is using entire phrases as passwords if the situation allows. Something like 'mynameisraynaandiamasexychick' is quite difficult to crack as well as being easy to remember. You can substitute in uppercase, numbers and symbols too, and get 'mYn4m31Sr4Yn44Nd14M4s3XyC#1cK', or if there are length constraints, take the first letter of every word: 'mN1r4144Sc' - looks cryptic, but not too difficult to remember.

Another suggestion if you are putting your pics on many different sites is to shadow a URL or inscription of some sort on each one like leigh here does.
