I just want to say thank you, once again to everyone here at
Pixies. Thanks to all of you, I'm finally starting to accept and even
love my body. I would especially like to thank the BBW women,
since I fit more into that group than the hardbodies.

You all showed such love for who you are and for your bodies,
I'm inspired to feel the same way.

This didn't happen overnight, but over the 4-5 months that I have
been a member here, I'm starting to feel more confident about
wearing tight tops etc. (You have to remember that wearing
something "tight" only means that I'm finally wearing things that
let people see that I'm a woman).

I always wore tops that were too big, and hubby's tee-shirts.

But now I have a new pride in my body and find myself walking
with a new confidence.

I just wanted to acknowledge that Pixies played a large roll in
this apparently sudden transformation.

I couldn't agree with you more! Although I'm a newbie here, I find it very refreshing that the people here don't subscribe to the Hollywood ideal of beauty for men and women.

I'm in the middle... I don't have the nubile body of a 20 year old but with a size 10/12 body I'm not exactly a bbw either. I've always had a hard time accepting my body for what it is. It's great to see pics of bbw who are secure with themselves enough to share their wonderful pics with everyone. In the short time I've been here, it's helped me see that all types of bodies can be sexy.
