Catching Fire

I loved the books but this second movie was sooooooooooooooo good. I think the 2nd book was my fave too though.

It is definitely a must see!

I couldn't bring myself to watch them. The books were so bleak, the movies would really depress me.

My 12 year old daughter wants to see the movie and she read the books (I read the first one). Heard the movie was a bit on the violent side.... I'm not against violent movies (not too protective as a parent) but the wife is a bit more conservative than me...

What do you think? Shy away from it and wait or go for it?

If she read the books she already knows what happens and if her mind is like mine it is pretty graphic when we are talking about a movie whose whole premise is a nation where they make you have your kids fight to the death to prove they can make you. The second movie peeps are adults and that helps. It is violent. But not graphically so.
