Some of the girls here at work were talking about what they did when they were unhappy or depressed....some said eat tons of chocolate the other said she called up ex boyfriends and bitched at them (yep I said psycho....).

What do you do????

Me, I clean...I have been known to get in a tiff with my SO and do the spring cleaning in December...

When I am pissed or sad I don't eat at all........I get very very productive. Redecorate the house, been known to paint the house I write the hell out of papers for school if I am upset!!!!

I tend to lock myself in my bedroom...and once I'm there, I either dive into a book to make my problems go away, or else start cleaning my room! I'm definitely someone who needs to take my mind off the present situation. Now, I've started to say I'm going back to school early on weekends, and that has worked, too

When I get pissed.......I clean too! But while in the grips of the hottest part of my anger, it seems I make a bigger mess than I am cleaning up. I do things with over-exaggerated moves.

Example: I'll yank open the dishwasher door and pull the bins out so fast that the flatware in there takes flight across the room. This pisses me off more because now I have more to clean up! Or I'll fold the laundry so fast that when, later, I am calm and look at it......it looks like it was shot out of a cannon. And that makes more work for me and I am pissed again. I try to curtail my anger because of this "karma" effect. What goes around, comes around......and bites you on the ass!

I'm just glad I am not like my baby sister........she throws things! And it's usually "HER" things, that she loves dearly.....and then they are ruined! I keep trying to tell her.........throw his stuff! Ya think she'd listen by now but.........NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! LOL!

I usually write. I've kept a journal since 5th grade and if you were to look back at them, you'd see I write in them when I'm pissed, depressed or trying to figure something out. Sure, there were times I wrote in them when I was happy but generally, when I'm happy, I'm living in the moment!

I stomp around and growl at people, then when I kinda calm down, I stuff my face, with the most unhealthy food I can find; chips, ice cream, chocolate........no wait, I eat chocolate all the time!
