we had an adoption shower when we got out little one. just make it age appropriate. The girls will love it

how about a gift cert to a portait studio... for a FAMILY picture?

These were abused and neglected childen placed in foster care whose foster family is adopting them.

I like the family portrait idea or something along those lines.

I'm not sure how old the girls are, but some sort of jewelry that symobolizes family might be nice for them (and pricey )

Or perhaps a family tree type plaque... I'll have to google more.
