I've been reconditioning a yard statue that we're donating to a church in Kentucky. It's about 4' tall. Also, lawn work, some love notes for my wife to take on a retreat this weekend, and, some work on my cars (wiper blades, some touch up work, etc.).
Like I said, busy day.

Back in 1982, my wife and I made a Marriage Encounter (Great weekend, BTW) and for 15-years, she had a love letter every day (with few exceptions). We've kind of slipped from that pace, but still write them for special occasions. With her being gone this weekend, I wrote one for each day and slipped it into her luggage.  She's worth it, and after almost 43 years of marriage (6/22), I think I'll keep her.
