Drax the Destructor!!

Hey all

Yet another model has been finished by me

Here he is.

Drax the destructor! a man who was sucked into a portal that lead to the warp (a place kinda like hell but also can be traveled through to get to places faster) and was mutated by it in such a way that when he was pulled out his face was totaly disfigured and he had psykic powers!

(if thats too confusing then its just a cool model )

Let me know what ya think!

You must have a steady hand & good eyes to do such detail. They've all been great!! I love this guys name, Drax. Very cool.

Ummm let me see. From bare componets to finished painted product. Drax took me...... id say about 3 hours. He went through 3 different designes before i found one i liked.

Then i had to use the putty to sculp the cape and armour plates on his legs. Then i had to leave it overnight to harden. Once that happend i just spreyed him black undercoat and then the final painting work took me about 1 hour to do.

The main reason it takes so long to make them for me is that i will have to redo things a few times till i find the one that looks right. Most of the time you will see me just sitting and staring at the model on the desk thinken. Or ill be just starting at the bare components to decide how best to put them together.

The most fun is when working out a pose i actualy do the actions myself. That way it looks more natural

Thanks for the feedback guys
