Ya know Dear DB, I have to say that for someone undergoing treatments, you certainly do not look it. Mayhem and I marveled over the fact that after seeing his Mum, and my Dad go through treatments and seeing how it affected them, and then joyfully meeting you and the gorgeous Mrs., well, quite frankly, that we plain forgot that you're fightin the big "C". Your smile is infectious, and it spreads like wildfire We love ya, and are praying for ya!

Thank you LB. I'm not going to let this little inconvenience stop me ... too many things to do; too many places to go; and, I figure either the Man Upstairs is going to take care of me (along with the doctors) or, He'll call me home to heaven and I wouldn't turn down that invitation, either. Either way ... it's a win-win situation ... and, based on "so far," I think the healing is going to win out!

Mrs. and I loved meeting you guys. What a terrific couple ... just like all the Pixes we've been privileged to meet!

Thanks TB! I really do believe the prayers and good wishes help a great deal. Don't know what I'd do without them.

Zeno's paradox: the idea that a trotoise could beat Achilles in a footrace of X length, despite being demonstrably slower than Achilles, if only Achilles gave the tortois a head start. See, by the time Achilles had caught up to the tortoise's start position, the tortoise would have gone a little further: and by the time Achilles caught up to the second reference position, a little further still; and so on. By this method, it would seem that Achilles could never in fact, catch up with the tortoise.

In DickBro's case, in order to finish the treatments, he would have to finish half teh treatments. And in order to finish the remining half, then at least half of those: and so on. He therefore seemingly cannot finish the treatments at all.

It is of course, a mathematical fallacy, but I'll leave the rest to y'all to puzzle out.

Right around Thanksgiving will be my last treatment. Can't say I'll miss it although it hasn't been all that bad for me. I know I've been very lucky!
