Okay...If my wife and I ever went to a topless beach, I highly doubt she'd go topless. Which is too bad, because frankly I like the idea of her being topless at that type of beach. Turns my crank to think of her being like that with folks able to just see her that way. Anyone else feel that way about their wife or gf at that type of beach?

I've always gone topless where it's been possible (and in Europe, it's usually the norm) but have never associated it with being a sexual thing.

The reality is that on a beach full of topless people, young, old, overwieght, underweight, 'just right', beautiful, ugly, whatever, it's not really arousing to see or be seen. It's almost as if there's so much flesh on show, that you're desensitised to it.

Going topless or nude at the beach isn't about being seen so much as it is about feeling good in an eviornment that allows us to shed our inhibitions as well as our clothes.Whenever there are elder or "fat" or otherwise unsitely people going nude at the beach, I applaud them for living their dreams of freedom and not caring how they might look to others.I feel that certain areas of beach should be set aside for nude sunbathing just like the beaches in Europe.

Haven't been to a "Nude Beach," but have been nude at a secluded beach and we have been to naturist (nudist) resorts. We loved the experience. And, it is true that the experience is far more one of feeling free and good than it is about sex ... at least in our experience. You really do, in a very short time, lose whatever sexual stimulation the nudity initially had, and the nudity rapidly becomes the norm.

We were amazed at one resort to run into another couple we had known for a long time, and it was marvelous to spend several days having meals together, going shopping, swimming or simply hiking the trails (except for shopping, all in the nude).

Just got back from Europe, had an opportunity to go to a topless beach (was a business trip, so not with the wife). Totally agree about the lack of..well, that a beach like that isn't about sex so much.

To me the sexiest thing about sunbathing topless is the feel of the sun on my nipples, but to be honest, you can enjoy that better sunbathing in private!

I don't know if i could do it.

Have to try it someday and see i guess.

Topless, I'd do....if it were a *very* cloudy day. I am very fairskinned and tend to get sun poisoning if I don't wear SPF 45+.

And some places you just don't want to burn.

We have a clothing optional aka "free" beach here where a particular group are trying to force the council into making the beach nudist only.

I've only been out there once and it was probably the least sexual place I've ever been.

Council have (correctly) made the decision that a free beach is for people who want to wear

anything or nothing or any variation of, with the possible exception of full medieval Teutonic armour.

That decision has as yet to be ruled on. Teutons may object .
