i used the Google one on their toolbar for sometime but now have the one form the XP service pack update

i don't use internet exploer, i use mozilla firefox, i barely get popups, or spyware. i just started useing it and i'll say i'm not going back to IE.

i think i've had one or two pop-ups at the utmost since i started using mozilla. i agree with the last few about it. it is wonderful. you can go here http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and click fee download to get it if you want.

I use Panickware Pop-up Stopper free version, works damn good, sometimes to good, at times I have to turn it off to open up like down load windows and such. I love it, easy to use also, and like I said FREE.

I also use Google Toolbar, which catches everything that IE misses. But that's only 42 since January, so it's doing pretty well.

I'll second (or is it third, or forth) the opinion that the Mozilla Firefox built in blocker is darn good. I would recommend you download the browser and come on over to the non-MSIE side.

MSIE in Windows XP service pack 2 blocks them pretty well.. and with the addition of the google toolbar (as FallenAngel5 suggested) it then works very well.

I still prefer Firefox.
